Leonard David "Lenny" Scowden, age 66, of Newark, passed away on January 24, 2025. Leonard was born on January 25, 1958, in Columbus, to the late Leonard H. and Goldie (Clevenger) Scowden.

He was a huge OSU Buckeye football fan, loved drag racing and fishing. Lenny cherished spending time with his family and being able to coach his children's sports.

He is survived by his loving wife Barbara; children, Christopher (Ali), Melissa; grandchildren, Brian, Carson, Teddy, Beau; stepmother, Barb; sister, Linda.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers, Gene and Bob Stevens.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, January, 30, 2025, from 4 - 6 PM at the Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home. His service will immediately follow at 6 Pm with Pastor Matt Clark officiating.
