Linda Sue Kruger, age 77, of Newark passed away on February 22, 2024. Linda was born on January 26, 1947, to the late Brady and Mary M. (Grigsby) McClain, in Newark, Ohio.

In her younger days she enjoyed roller skating, bowling and collecting Elvis memorabilia. She loved to go see her favorite Elvis impersonator, Mike Albert. Linda's favorite place to shop is Walmart and yard sales. She would enjoy knitting and playing Bingo, and was a member of the Cedar Hill Baptist Church.

Linda is survived by her children, Richard (Christine) Kruger, Peggy (Doug Ford) Kruger, Donna (Paul) James, Melissa (Padraic) Cassidy; grandchildren, Ricky, Tiffany, Brandon Kruger, Aiden and Avah James; great grandchildren, Zayden, Bentley, Kylie; brother, Ronald (Kelly) McClain; best friends, Judy, Faith, Rose, and Betty, Sue.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Richard "Rick" Ormand; brothers, Charles, Frank, George, and Frederick.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, from 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM at the Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home, where her service will immediately follow with Pastor Bruce Dollings. Burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

The family would like to give a special thank you to her home aide, Mary and her home health nurse, Jerry for taking such great care of her when she needed it most.
