Linda A. Rucker

A funeral service for Linda A. Rucker, 77, of Newark, OH, will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home, with pastor Wes Humble officiating. Burial will follow at Wilson Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at the funeral home, 985 N. 21st St. Newark.

Linda passed away November 21, 2025, surrounded by her family at her residence. She was born January 10, 1948, in Newark, OH, to the late Elmer Huntsman and Lena (Morrison) Estep.

Linda loved spending her days playing Bingo, working on puzzles, and losing herself in a good book. A dedicated sports fan, she rarely missed a chance to cheer on NASCAR, the Cleveland Browns, the Cavs, and The Ohio State Buckeyes. Linda also found happiness in shopping, especially during her frequent trips to Kohl's.

She is survived by her husband, Noel B. Rucker; children, Raymond (Lacey) Carpenter, Jr., Vicki Carpenter, Steven Carpenter, Paul Carpenter, and Ron (Amber) Gardner; stepchildren, Bryan (Audry) Strait, Troy (Emily) Rucker, and Ryan Rucker; brother, Cline (Brenda) Estep; 21 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Terry Huntsman and Opie Huntsman, and sisters, Sandra Geiger and Nita Baumgartner.
