Lisa G. Simpson passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her beloved family, on Saturday, March 22, 2025, in Newark, Ohio. She was 63 years old. Born on February 6, 1962, in San Diego, California, Lisa's life was a tapestry woven with love, laughter, and unwavering dedication.

For over three decades, Lisa worked as an optician brightening the lives of countless patients in the Newark area with her expertise and warm smile. Her passion for thrift shopping, caring for animals, and cherishing moments with loved ones brought joy to all who knew her. Lisa's kindness and generosity were boundless, leaving a lasting impression on everyone she met.

Lisa is survived by her devoted husband of 40 years, Mike Simpson; her son, Sean Simpson, and his wife, Brittany Simpson; her daughter, Brittany Conn, and her husband, Zachary Conn; and her sister, Shelia Cahn. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Betty Osborne, and her sisters, Angie and Kassey Kinkade.

The family will have a private memorial service at a later date with family and close friends. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Licking County Humane Society or Hospice of Central Ohio, honoring Lisa's love for animals and her compassionate spirit.
