Lois Ann Meyers

A funeral service for Lois Ann Meyers, 93, of Newark, OH, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 19, 2026, at Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Wilson Cemetery. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home, 985 N. 21st St. Newark.

Lois passed away peacefully on June 15, 2026, at the Selma Markowitz Hospice Care Center. She was born on January 12, 1933, in Licking County, OH, to the late Ross and Anna (Frampton) VanWinkle.

Lois retired as CEO of Fiberglas Federal Credit Union after many years of dedicated service. She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ. Lois enjoyed crocheting, playing euchre, and bowling. She and her husband also spent several years wintering in Florida, creating many cherished memories with friends and family.

She is survived by her son, Charles D. Meyers; daughter, Pamela Ann Deal (Timothy Allen); grandchildren, Traig (Kelly) Deal and Addison Deal; great-grandchildren, Briley, AnnDee, and Jameson, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles “Chuck” Christian Meyers; brothers, Edgar, Kenneth, and Mark VanWinkle, and sisters, Dorothy Roach and Emma Jean Wright.
