Lora K. Castle, 72, of Heath, died Sunday, September 22, 2024 at Licking Memorial Hospital. She was born January 25, 1952 in Zanesville to the late Thomas and Gladys (Schenck) McDaniel.

Lora loved life and lived it to the fullest. She enjoyed spending time in the sun, especially on the beaches in North Carolina. She cherished her time that she spent with her family particularly around the holidays.

She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Carmen; daughter, Michelle (Kenny) Gemmell; son, Steven Wheeler; grandchildren, Dillon and Dalton Gemmell and Shayla Wheeler; sister, Tamma (Russell) Waldrop; and father-in-law, Arthur (Gail) Chidester.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by mother-in-law, Wanda Chidester; and father-in-law, Carmen Castle Sr.

Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Lora to the Licking County Humane Society.

No funeral services will be held.
