Loran G. Fogle, age 92, passed away at home surrounded by his family on Wednesday, October 16, 2024. Loran was born on February 10, 1932, in Newark, Ohio to the late James Royal and Florence Irene (Wood) Fogle.

Loran retired from Rockwell International after 30 years of service, in 1982. He was a lifelong farmer who loved to bale hay and took pride in caring for his farm.  He collected Pure Oil memorabilia. Loran was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He also enjoyed country music.

He is survived by his loving wife of 73 years, Carol Jean (Frey) Fogle; children, Steve (Pam) Fogle, Jim (Kathy) Fogle, Lorie (Jeff) Phillips, Ed Fogle, Deb Pound, and Jane (Eddie) Salyers; 16 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by 3 sisters, 5 brothers, an infant daughter and infant grandson.

The family would like to thank his caregivers Brandy, Donna and Lorraine and Hospice of Central Ohio for their support.

In lieu of flowers you may donate to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or Shriners Hospital in Loran's name.

There will be a Celebration of Life held on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, from 2 - 4 PM at the Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home. His service will immediately follow at 4 PM with Rev. Don Owens officiating.
