Lorilee "Lori" Ann Cole-Winfrey

A funeral service for Lorilee "Lori" Ann Cole Winfrey, 66, of Newark, OH, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 26, 2026, at Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home, with Pastor Ray Blakely officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Thursday prior to the service at the funeral home, 985 N. 21st St. Newark.

Lori passed February 23, 2026, at her residence. She was born December 1, 1959, in Newark, OH, to the late Ronald W. Cole and Sally V. (Stearns) Smith.

Lori was a 1978 graduate of Newark High School. She was a proud member of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) and dedicated many years of service to the Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) before her retirement.

She is survived by her husband, Perry K. Winfrey; sisters, Ronna (Don) Pickering and Kellie S. Cole; nephews, Nate Estep, Ian (Matthew Goldstein) Estep, and Paris Hill; great-nephew, Jensen Athey; great-niece, Evelyn Rose Estep; father-in-law, Homer Winfrey; several in-laws; special friend, Janelle Solt, and her fur baby, Betty Lynn.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Darrell J. Cole.
