Lorraine Marie (Kowbasa) Stoneburner, age 71, of Newark, passed away at Riverside Methodist Hospital Wednesday, June 24, 2026. She was born in Newark, Ohio on May 7, 1955, to the late Walter and Carol (Harper) Kowbasa.

Lorraine loved her family and grandchildren. She enjoyed playing Yahtzee and Euchre.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 52 years, Kenneth “Stoney” Stoneburner; children, Tristan Kyle (April) Stoneburner and Kelsey Lynn (Jody) Sarchet; grandchildren, Montana Skyler (Adam Himelrick) Stoneburner, Dakota Allen, Easton Allen, and Jaxson Allen Sarchet; brother, Gregory “Andy” (Mona Bailey) Kowbasa; nieces and nephews, Zach Parr, Michaela (Matthew) Ames, Jordan (Heather) Kowbasa, and Justin Kowbasa; several great-nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Karen Parr and Henry Kowbasa; “uncle”, Lawrence Kowbasa.

Visitation will be held from 5pm-7pm Monday, June 29, 2026, with a 7pm funeral service at Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N 21st, St. Newark, Ohio, Pastor Donny Owens officiating.
