Lucille Ruth Corder

Lucille Ruth Corder, age 97, of Hebron, passed away on March 26, 2026, at her residence with her daughters Jan and Patty by her side, while Patty sang How Great Thou Art. Lucille was born on June 4, 1928, in Newark to the late Harley and Anna (Spurier) Burchard.

She enjoyed crafting, knitting, and crocheting, and found great joy in creating things with her hands. A devout Christian, her faith was an important part of her life and guided her in all she did. She loved traveling, especially trips to the ocean, where she found peace and happiness. Above all, she cherished spending time with her family, who meant everything to her.

Lucille is survived by her children, Kenneth L. (Diana) Corder, Rick A. (Lori) Corder, Michael W. (Carol) Corder, Janet L. Corder; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; siblings, Mary Whittington, and Bill Burchard.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded by her husband, Richard E. Corder; children, David L Corder, Richard Corder Jr.; siblings, Harley Burchard, Earl Burchard, Shelton Burchard, Millie Burchard Annamae Harper.

There will be a graveside service held on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at 10 am in Wilson Cemetery.
