Marcia Marie (Young) Osborn of Newark, Ohio passed away suddenly on March 16, 2026; she was 73 years old. Marcia was born in Newark, Ohio on April 20, 1952 to the late Link C.R. Young and Mary (Woodbridge) Young.

She was a 1970 graduate of Utica High School and retired from the Licking County Child Support Enforcement Agency. She loved to serve others, especially through her cooking. She also loved to sing and was a member at Rise Christian Church. But most importantly, she loved her family, especially her grandkids. She was their biggest fan and could often be found cheering them on in their endeavors.

She is survived by her mother, Mary Young; her children, Jason Osborn, Jennifer (Gregg) Vogel, Jay (Christina) Osborn; grandchildren, Dylan Osborn, Aidan Osborn, Link Osborn, Emma Vogel, Lane Osborn, Luke Osborn, Evelyn Vogel, and Elias Vogel; her sister Linette (William) Giles; brother-in-laws, David Osborn and Daryl Osborn; as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Duane Osborn; father Link Young; sister Linda Myers; father/mother-in-law Ernest & Evelyn Osborn, sister-in-laws Carol Osborn and Nancy Osborn, as well as aunts and uncles.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be sent to Rise Christian Church, Children's Ministry.

Visitation will be held Sunday, March 22, 2026 from 4-6 pm at Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N. 21st St., Newark, and Monday, March 23, 2026 from 12-1 pm. The funeral service will be held immediately following visitation on Monday at 1:00 pm with Pastor Dave Mason officiating. Burial will follow the service at Hanover Cemetery.
