Margaret Ann Knotts, 92, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family on January 10, 2024, in Newark, Ohio. She was born on November 4, 1931, in Newark, Ohio to the late Charles and Helen Moore. Ann was a caring and loving individual who always prioritized her friends and family. She had a kind and generous heart and often reached out to them with letters and flowers filled with love and support.

Ann was a devoted sister in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Newark Congregation, for over 60 years. Her faith was an integral part of her life, and she found solace and strength in her religious community. She will be remembered for her unwavering dedication to her beliefs.

Ann is survived by her children, John Knotts, Jani Knotts, Joyce Elliott, and Barbara Knotts. She was a proud grandmother to Josh Carver, Jessica (Travis) Tolley, Amanda Green, David Elliott, Hayley (Eric) Knotts, Heather Knotts, Hannah Knotts, Howie Smith (Nichole), Annie Knotts, Brooke Knotts, and Jacob Johnson. Additionally, she leaves behind numerous great-grandchildren, Caleb, Aiden, Apple, Christian, Elayna, Steven, Mason, Naomi, Corinthia, Country, Colton Jacob, Ashton, Addison and Ariah.

She will be deeply missed by her best friend Sharon Bentley.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Helen Moore; as well as her siblings, Harold, Virginia, Jimmy; and her companion of 23 years, her dear cat, Chaos.

Ann attended Newark High School and graduated with the Class of 1951.

Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Brucker & Kishler Funeral Home, located at 985 N 21st St., Newark, OH 43055, on Monday, January 15, 2024, beginning at 4:00 pm. A memorial service will follow at 6:00 pm.

The passing of Grandma Ann has left a void in the lives of those who knew and loved her. She will be greatly missed, but her memory will forever be cherished.
