Peg passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on October 19, 2026, at The Inn at Chapel Grove. She was born June 21, 1925, in Newark, OH, to the late Joseph Anthony and Mary Alice (Keyser) Hand.
Peg was a woman of profound faith, boundless warmth, and a deep love for life. She lived every one of her 101 years as a faithful servant to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Peg was a kind and passionate soul whose gentle heart touched everyone around her. She devoted her life to serving her Lord, her church, her community, and, above all, her beloved family. She was also a long-time, faithful member of Northside Baptist Church. Together, Peg and her husband Bob devoted their hearts to serving their community with compassion and care through Brucker & Kishler Funeral Home.
She is survived by her children, Robert James “Jim” (Linda) Brucker, Jr. and Sara (Terry) Culberson; grandchildren, Tracy (Jim) Brewster, Leslea (Jeremy) Massu, Jason Corbin, and Michael (Valerie) Corbin; great-grandchildren, Stephanie (Chas) Stevens, Elijah Brewater, Evan Brewster, Harper Corbin, Landon Corbin, Chloe Corbin, Ella Massu, and Kaelah Corbin; great-great-grandson, Charlie Stevens, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert James “Bob” Brucker, Sr.; twin sister, Patricia Thomas, and younger sister, Mary Jo Hess.
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Hospice of Central Ohio and the entire staff at The Inn at Chapel Grove for the many years of compassionate care, kindness, and support they provided to Peg. They are also deeply thankful for the wonderful friendships Peg formed over the years, which brought so much joy and meaning to her life.
