Marilou Rowley, 91 of Mt. Vernon passed away peacefully on December 31, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on April 1, 1933 in Buckeye Lake, OH to the late Dallas Wayne and Ilo Mae (Moffett) Dowell, Sr.

Marilou enjoyed her flowers and family. She owned a Wayne Feed Store for many years, sold appliances and was Township Clerk. She did over 60 years of volunteer charity work.

She is survived by her sister, Beverly Elliott; sons, Jeffrey Douglas (Pam) Rowley and David Lynn Rowley; grandchildren, Brandon (Erin) Collins, Derek Rowley, Bryan Rowley and Deni Rowley; great-grandchildren, Sophie Collins and Jack.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Billy Dean Rowley; son, Dennis Rowley; granddaughter, Amber Rowley; sisters, Carol Roberts and Doris Raver; and brothers, Dallas Dowell, Jr. and Jack Dowell.
