Obituary

Marjorie Naomi Eikelberry, 94, of Newark, died Saturday, December 9, 2023 at the Selma Markowitz Hospice Center. She was born May 14, 1929 in Newark to the late Frederick and Bessie (Furbee) Boring.

Marjorie was a member of First Baptist Heath Church. She enjoyed watching the birds, reading her bible every morning, and loved spending time with all her grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughters, Donna Compton, Carol (Jim) Randall, and Laura Clary; eight grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and sister, Joyce Watson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Edward Eikelberry; son, Richard Eikelberry, brother, Ben Boring; and sister, Harriet Bucklew.

Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Marjorie to Hospice of Central Ohio.

Visitation will be Thursday from 12-2 pm at the Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N. 21st St., where the funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm with Pastor Wally McLaughlin officiating. Burial will follow the service at Wilson Cemetery.
