Marsha Lee Klein, 86, of Newark & Frazeysburg, died Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at Licking Memorial Hospital. She was born November 5, 1937 in Newark to the late George and Margaret (Prysi) Farquhar.
Marsha was a 1956 graduate of Newark High School and a member of the Girl Scouts nearly her whole life and attained the level of Gold Award. She was a member of a card club for over 60 years. Marsha was a collector, mostly of antiques and unique items. She was a prankster at heart and was never afraid to laugh at her own jokes. She loved traveling with her beloved husband and soulmate, Ghee, in their motorhome.
She is survived by two sons, Wade (Cindy) Wetzel and Kelly (Beth) Wetzel; ten grandchildren, Josh (Jacinda) Wetzel, Kyndra (Derrick) Waites, Drake (Roberta) Wetzel, Caleb (Ashley) Wetzel, Seth (Kristin) Wetzel, Kara (Steve) Wamack, Drew (Krysta) Wetzel, Kyle (Maegan) Wetzel, Crystal (Nick) Wetzel-Garcia, and Tyler (Jacy) Wetzel; 24 great grandchildren, two sisters, Georgeanne (Joe) Brune and Nancy Hollis; numerous nieces and nephews; and her beloved cat, Quinny.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard "Ghee" Klein; and son, Eric J. Wetzel.
Visitation will be held Saturday, July 6, 2024 from 9-10:00 am at the Brucker and Kishler Funeral, 985 N. 21st St., Newark where the funeral service will follow at 10:00 am with Pastor Wes Humble officiating. Burial will follow the service at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Family and friends are invited to gather to celebrate the life of Marsha, immediately following the graveside service, at Rise Christian Church 1578 Dayton Rd, Newark.
