Mary Frances Rauch, 87, of Heath, OH passed away on May 22, 2026. She was born April 15, 1939 in Buffalo, WV to the late Roy Russell Skinner and Edith Frances (Adkison) Skinner.

Mary Frances graduated as Valedictorian from Buffalo H.S. class of 1958. She worked at the U.S. Postal Service in Charleston, WV where she became the first female postal room worker. She attended business management training and moved to Ohio and was an executive secretary for the St. Regis Paper Company of Newark, OH. She later evolved into a full time homemaker.

She was a member of the Newark Poseidon Scuba Club, the Licking County and Columbus Rock and Mineral Societies. She also enjoyed being a member of the Licking County Computer Society and the Neal Avenue Church Women (NACW).

She is survived by her husband, Vernon David Rauch; son, George Russell Rauch; grandson, Terry McKiernan; three great granddaughters, Kylie Humphrey, Lexie Evans and Sydnee Schoonover.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Neal Ave. Memorial Fund or to the Food Pantry of Licking County ℅ Scott, 1035 Brice St., Newark, OH 43055.

Visitation will be held Saturday, May 30, 2026 at the Neal Ave. United Methodist Church from 11-1 pm where the funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm with Pastor Drew Watson officiating. A graveside service will follow the funeral at Wilson Cemetery.
