M.E. Red Wiggins, 94 of Heath passed away on September 20, 2024 at The Inn at Chapel Grove. He was born on March 5, 1930 in Laurelville, OH to the late Wayne and Mildred (Hicks) Wiggins.

Red served honorably as a Corporal in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He retired from Columbia Gas after 30 years. He was a life member of Reynoldsburg VFW Post 9473, life member of Hebron American Legion Post #285 and member of Masonic Lodge in Groveport, formerly known as Ralph R. Rickly Lodge #670.

He is survived by his loving wife of 71 years, Patricia A. (Bendure) Wiggins; sisters-in-law, Sherry (Kenneth) Young and Elyce (Terry) Hartshorn; "adopted daughter", Kitty (Randy) Pace; nieces and nephews, Tim (Beth) Wiggins, Tonya (Tony) Clay, Teresa Johnson and Scott (April) Bendure; and numerous great-nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Myron (Betty) Wiggins; niece, Mary K. McConnell; and brothers-in-law, Richard and Russell Bendure.

The family will receive friends from 4-7pm on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 and from 12-1:30pm on Thursday at Brucker-Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N. 21st St., Newark. Funeral service will be held at 1:30pm on Thursday, September 26, 2024 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery with military honors conducted by the Licking County Veterans Alliance.
