Micah Roman Scott

A funeral service for Micah Roman Scott, beloved 4-day-old baby boy, will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, November 14, 2025, at Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home, with Pastor Michael Ensey officiating. Burial will follow at Homer Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., one hour prior to the service, at the funeral home located at 985 N. 21st St., Newark.

Micah passed away peacefully on November 8, 2025, at Nationwide Children's Hospital. He was born on November 4, 2025, in Columbus, Ohio, to Joseph William Scott, Jr. and Alexandra Morgan (Sunkle) Scott.

In addition to his loving parents, Micah is survived by his big brother, Joseph William Scott, III; maternal grandmother, Danielle (Timothy) Pawloski; maternal grandfather, Gary Sunkle; paternal grandmother, Tammy Scott; maternal great-grandparents, Danny and Susie May; aunt, Brookelynn (Todd) Conley; uncle, Gentry Sunkle; and cousins, Raelynn, Gavyn, and Adilyn Conley.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Joseph William Scott, Sr., and paternal great-grandmother, Lola Scott.

Though Micah's time on earth was brief, he brought endless love and joy to all who knew him. His memory will forever remain in the hearts of his family.
