Braidich
Jul 31, 1952 — Aug 12, 2025
Frazeysburg
Michael Alan Braidich, 73, of Frazeysburg, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, August 12, 2025. He was born on July 31, 1952, in Newark, Ohio, to the late Milan and Margaret (Rauch) Braidich.
A 1970 graduate of Newark Catholic High School, Mike was a lifelong member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. He attended the University of Dayton and later earned his associate degree from COTC. He dedicated 19 years of service to Big Bear and 24 years to the U.S. Postal Service before retiring in 2009. Mike was an avid sports fan, proudly cheering for the Cleveland Browns, Cincinnati Reds, and The Ohio State Buckeyes. He had a zest for life and enjoyed Karate, golfing, hunting, fishing, Running marathons, distance races, and riding his motorcycle. Mike and Kathy embraced traveling all over the world. There was nothing left on their "Bucket List". Above all, he was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather whose love for his family was unwavering. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Kathy; children, Chuck (Kate) Braidich, Joe (Misty) Braidich, Angela Peugh, and Robert (Michelle) Haywood; 14 grandchildren; 3 great- grandchildren; siblings, Marcy (Terry) Norris, Mark (Lori) Braidich, Mary (Bob) Helber, Melanie (Brian) Smith, and Melissa (Mike) Mathews; several nieces and nephews; and his loyal German Shepherd, Caesar.
A special thank you to Home Instead caregiver Sandy who assisted in caring for Mike with professionalism, grace and love during this time
