Michael E. Legge, 62 of Newark passed away on August 29, 2024 at his residence. He was born on March 18, 1962 in Coshocton, OH to the late John Joseph and Audrey Jean (Cottrell) Legge.

Mike was a member and trustee at Rise Christian Church, formerly Licking Valley Church of Christ. He drove a fuel truck for 1st Choice Energy Services and made many friends over the years delivering them fuel. He was an avid deer hunter and enjoyed golfing. He was a member of the NRA and former member of Claylick Bow Club.

He is survived by his sister, Kim Legge; one nephew; great-nieces, Kaydence, Carinia and Killian; great-nephew, Connor; many cousins; close friends, Jim Evans, Dave Hewitt, Bobby German, Tim German and the German family; many deer hunting friends; his boss, Chad Richardson and co-workers at 1st Choice Energy and many more friends.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his nephews, Billy McPeek and DJ McPeek.

The family will receive friends from 5-8pm on Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at Brucker-Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N. 21st St., Newark. Funeral service will be held at 11am on Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Wilson Cemetery.
