Mildred "Mille" E. (Boylan) Stanton, 91 of Newark, Ohio passed away March 10, 2025 at Arlington Nursing Home after a brief illness. Mille was born November 18, 1933 to the late Harry and Maggie Boylan.
Mille is survived by her sister Margaret Daniels, her nieces Sue (Noe) Villegas, Lisa (Scott) Berkley, Sharon (Doug) Hoyt, Jennifer (Johnny) Clanahan, Kristy (Daryl) Lane, Melanie (Edward) Gately. Nephews William Barrick, Tim (Karen) Boylan, Andy (Claudia) Boylan, Ronald (Suzanne) Boylan, Lindsay Daniels, Rod (Nora) Slotterbeck, Fred Matthews, brother-in-law Tony Gilman, sister-in-law Stella Boylan, brother-in-law Ronnie (Judy) Stanton and many great and great-great nieces and nephews.
Mille was preceded in death by her parents, her dear husband of 58 years Robert "Bob" Stanton, her siblings Frank, George, Mary, Mabel, Bill, Mickie, John and Mitzi, in-laws William and Ethel Stanton, nephews Dick Matthews, James Barrick, Thomas Barrick and niece Kathleen Ross.
Mille was one of Jehovah's Witnesses and actively shared her faith and hope with others. Mille was loved by many in her congregation of faith who tirelessly provided assistance and care until the very end. Mille was an avid reader and loved listening to and playing music with others. She found joy in creation whether it was the grandeur of the Grand Canyon, the 11 boxer dogs she had over the years or the squirrels and birds she fed daily. She was a beloved aunt and second mother to many.
The family wishes to thank Jay and the staff at Athletico Physical Therapy that kept Mille moving for several years. Also, Bella Hospice, Arlington Nursing Home and the CICU nurses and aides at LMH who cared for her in her final weeks.
A memorial service will be held Friday April 4th at 7 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses at 2740 Newark-Granville Road, Granville Ohio. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made at https://donate.jw.org and select "Donate to Worldwide Work" or Bella Hospice.
