Mina "Kris" Kristine Dysart, 62, of Newark, died Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at Ohio State University Wexner Center. She was born August 5, 1961 in Newark. She was a daughter of the late Thomas E. and Martha H. (Horst) Weiss.

Kris loved vacations to the beach, especially to the Outer Banks. Every year for Christmas she would bake special German Christmas cookies and referee the family fights of said cookies.

She is survived by her siblings, Lynn (Dale) Sears, Larry (Dianne) Dysart, Karen Dysart-Wheeler, and Brad (Stephanie) Dysart; several nieces and nephews; many grand and great nieces and nephews; and sister-in-law, Roseanne Stevenson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sister, Sandy (Ray) Hutchison; and brother, Herb Dysart.

Visitation will be held Saturday, March 30, 2024 from 5-7 pm at the Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N, 21st St., Newark.
