Nancy Allen Groff, 82, of Heath, formerly of Reading, Pennsylvania, passed away Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at Heath Health and Rehab. She was born November 24, 1943, in Boston, Massachusetts, the adopted daughter of Howard and Lillian (Tegner) Baker.

A native of Gloucester, Massachusetts, Nancy was a lifelong learner who earned her bachelor's degree from Drew University in Madison, New Jersey. She began her career teaching in New Jersey for three years before spending 17 years as a preschool teacher in Pennsylvania, where she found great joy in nurturing and encouraging young children.

Nancy enjoyed baking, creating crafts, and listening to Southern Gospel music. She will be remembered for her kind spirit, creativity, and the love she shared with her family and friends.

She is survived by her children, David Blose and Karin Blose.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Lester Groff.

In keeping with Nancy's wishes, no funeral services will be held. Burial will take place in Pennsylvania, where she will be laid to rest beside her husband.
