Nancy Darlene Hitchcock, 75 of Heath passed away on January 3, 2025 at Licking Memorial Hospital. She was born on November 18, 1949 in Jamestown, OH to the late Orba Edwin and Daisy Jane (Lewis) Brown.

Nancy enjoyed crocheting, cooking, thrift shopping, yard sales and traveling to Gatlinburg.

She is survived by her children, Kimberly (Bruce Dye) Merrill, Tina (Curtis) Thoma, Gregory (Angel) Hitchcock II and Crystal Hitchcock; 12 grandchildren 24 great-grandchildren; siblings, Lisa Tipton, Mike (Marcella) Brown, Dean (Sherry) Mowen, Kevin Mowen and Dennis Mowen; many nieces, nephews, cousins and her beloved dog, Moe.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Gregory Hitchcock; daughter, Wendy Edgerley; 3 grandchildren, Natasha and J.W. Edgerley and Cody Thoma; and brothers, Steve Brown and Chris Mowen.

The family will receive friends from 1-3pm on Friday, January 10, 2025 at Brucker-Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N. 21st St., Newark. Funeral service will follow at 3pm with Stephen Brown II officiating.
