Nancy Sue Hollis

A funeral service for Nancy Sue Hollis, 84, of Newark, OH, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 7, 2025, at Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Friday prior to the service at the funeral home, 985 N. 21st St. Newark.

Nancy passed away February 2, 2025, at SharonBrooke Assisted Living. She was born February 27, 1940, in Newark, OH, to the late George and Margaret (Prysi) Farquhar.

Nancy was a devoted member of Central Christian Church, where she selflessly helped establish the medical loan closet, inspiring others with kindness. She had a passion for the beach, traveling with her loving husband Allen, and spreading joy to all those around her with her incredible gift of conversation. She was a loan officer for Fiberglas Credit Union and later a Walmart greeter in her retirement, Nancy's warmth and compassion touched countless lives.

She is survived by her sons, John "Tracy" (Becky) Hollis and Chris (Misty) Hollis; sister, Georgeanne (Joe) Brune; grandchildren, Tiffany (Michael) Bagwell, Dylan Wygle, Dallas Wygle, Jake Hollis, David (Kelly) Evans, Connie Evans, and Tommy (Laci) Evans; seven great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Allen L. Hollis; son, Arron Hollis, and sister, Marsha Klein.
