It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Natalie (Duke) Thomas, who went to be with the Lord on Monday morning, August 26th, at the age of 34, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Natalie was a beloved wife, daughter, sister, and friend whose presence brought warmth and light to everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Natalie was the cherished wife of Blake Thomas, the beloved daughter of Deborah and Thomas Duke, and the devoted sister of Rachel Curatola. Her love extended to her nieces and nephews, who adored her and were blessed by her nurturing spirit.

Natalie dedicated her life to caring for others, serving as a registered nurse at Licking Memorial Hospital. Her colleagues and patients alike will remember her not only for her professional expertise but also for her infectious joy, kindness, and the intentional love she poured into every interaction. She was a bright light in every room she entered, and her joy was truly contagious. Natalie's faith was the cornerstone of her life. She loved Jesus with all her heart and never wavered in her belief in His love, faithfulness, and power, even in the face of her illness. Her greatest desire was for everyone she encountered to know the love of Christ, and she lived each day with that purpose in mind. While our hearts are broken by her passing, we take comfort in knowing that Natalie is now in the presence of her Savior, whom she loved so dearly. Her legacy of faith, love, and joy will continue to inspire and uplift those who knew her.

A celebration of Natalie's life will be held at Spring Hills Church in Granville, OH on Saturday, August 31. Calling hours are from 10am-Noon followed by the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her memory to the Kenyan mission fund set up by Spring Hills.

We are forever grateful for the love and support shown to our family during this difficult time. Natalie's light will continue to shine in our hearts, and her memory will be cherished always.
