Neal Edward Elmore, age 67, of Newark, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 29, 2021, with his loving family by his side. Neal was born on July 11, 1954, to the late Harlie and Edith (George) Elmore in Warren, Ohio. He loved hunting, fishing, watching westerns, and listening to Gospel Blue Grass. Neal was a graduate of Champion High School and a longtime member of the ITAM29 and enjoyed eating at Sunrise Pizza. He is survived by his loving daughter, Lezlie (Jason) Lucas; grandson, Neal "Emery" Ankrom; brother-in-law, Jim Freeman; nephew, Randy (Stephanie) Freeman, and many cousins. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Janice Elaine Freeman. A celebration of life will be held on November 6, 2021, from 1-4 PM at the Sunrise Inn, 510 East Market Street, Warren, Ohio 44481.
