Nick Andy Neagos, Jr., 75, of Newark passed away on August 10, 2024. He was born on December 4, 1948, in Martins Ferry, OH.

Nick served honorably in the U.S. Army for 10 years with two tours in Vietnam. He's a retired electrician of Boeing/Newark Air Force Base. Nick was an avid hunter on the family's farm and enjoyed fishing with his family in Cape Hatteras. He was a good-natured man who would help anyone in need and had a kind and caring heart. He will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his daughter, Lisa (Joe) Cappelletty; siblings, David (Jackie) Neagos, Sandra K. Neagos, Andy (Wendy) Neagos, and Gary Lallathin; grandchildren Colten Powell, Kaylah Neagos, Timothy Edmond, Bristyl McPeek, Wyatt Cappelletty, Jemma James and River James; great grandson Kylo Rosa; and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his mother and step-father, Dorothy and Dick Price; father and step-mother, Nick and Patty Neagos, Sr.; step-daughter, Heather Todd; grandson, Layton Neagos; and sisters, Cynthia A. Neagos and Judy Spiguzza.

Private services will be held, and a Celebration of Life will be open to friends and family at the Newark Eagles, 52 Forry St, Newark, OH 43055, on Saturday, September 28, 2024, from 2:00 - 4:00 pm. Food will be provided.
