Patricia "Pat" Sue Baker, 79, of Newark, died Wednesday, October 22, 2025 at Licking Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. She was born October 20, 1946 in Newark to the late John and Naomi (Koppert) Williams.

Pat graduated from Newark High School. She worked at Newark Airforce Base and later retired from DSCC as a management specialist. She was a member of Heath Church of Christ, Heath Garden Club and a leader of Heart of Ohio Girl Scouts. She loved researching genealogy and traveling and exploring ancient Indian mounds.

She is survived by her children, Timothy (Dawn) Chester, Sarah (Sean) Hall, Damon Baker and LeeBob (Lisa) Baker; grandchildren, Brittany (Alek Rogne) Chester, Heather (Lance) Horsley, Adam Hall, Jared Hall, Jacob Hall, Alexandra (Mitch) McDonough, Braden Hall, Seanna (Carl Cook) Baker and Breanna (Zach Otis) Baker; great grandchildren, Amore Horsley, Heaven Keaser, Sebastian Horsley, Paisley Dunlap, Christopher Hall, Josiah Hall, Shianne Hall, Quinn McDonough, Elliot Cook, Alexander Cook, Callie Otis and Oakley Cook; siblings, John Nicholson (Diane) Williams III and Rex Alan (Amal) Williams; and sister-in-law, Delores Baker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Baker.

A celebration of life will be held Sunday, October 26, 2025 from 4-6 pm at White Sparrow Events, 675 Heath Rd., Heath, OH 43056.
