Patricia C. "Pat" Bates-Woods, age 94, of Pataskala, passed away on June 14, 2025. Pat was born on October 4, 1931, in Vienna, WV, to the late William and Inez (Arthur) Short.

She was a member of the Neal Ave United Methodist Church.

Pat is survived by her husband, Robert N.; son, Randall Bates; grandchildren, Eric (Jennifer) Bates, Adam Bates, Danielle Boyce, Amanda Bates, Randall Bates Jr., Ashley Bates, Brian Bates and Justin Bates; several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, D. Terrence Bates; sister, Betty Short; brother, William Short; daughter-in-law, Loretta Bates.

There will be no services held at this time.
