Patsy Ann
Whitt
Jul 12, 1934 — Aug 14, 2025
Patsy Ann Whitt, 91, of Johnstown Ohio passed away on August 14, 2025 at Mt. Carmel New Albany. She was born on July 12, 1934 in New Boston, Ohio to the late Edward and Ruby (Salley) Green.
She was a member of Johnstown Christian Church for over 60 years. She enjoyed playing bingo every Tuesday night at her local community center. Her biggest pride and joy in life was the size of her family with 5 kids, 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren. After retiring she went on to work at the Flying Dozer daycare for 10 years. She loved taking care of children and babies. One of her favorite things to say was always "kids can't hurt you like the grown-ups can". She married her childhood sweetheart, Ray Charles Whitt, and they went on to share 59 years of marriage.
She is survived by her children, Charles (Deni) Whitt, Michael Whitt, Scott (Julie) Whitt, Timothy (Jenna) Whitt and Kathy (John) Webb; 11 grandchildren, Lacey, Chance, Zach, Tracie, Chris, Jeremiah, Kira Raye, Nikki, Danielle, Ethan, Isaiah; 17 great-grandchildren Wyatt, Waylen, Sammie, Haley, Christen, Breanna, Seth, Brody, Audrey, Kennedy, Brooklyn, Carter, Dominic, Kristen, Aubree, Turbo and Felix; 7 great-great-grandchildren Krew, Kayvon, Corbin, Braeson, Hartlynn, Rhea, Leland; special "adopted" granddaughter, Brooke (Alex) Blackburn; siblings, Kenneth (Joyce) Green, Lewis Green, Betty Miller and Virginia Copley; and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her two beloved cats, Freckles and Pierre.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Ray Charles Whitt.
Memorial service will be held Saturday August 30th at the Johnstown Christian Church located at 9556 Johnstown Utica Rd, Johnstown, OH 43031. Service will begin at 11am.
