Paul Vincent Delancey, age 68, of Newark, passed away suddenly on February 25, 2024. Paul was born on August 16, 1955, to the late George and Helen (Fraizer) Delancey in Newark, Ohio.

He proudly served as a medic in the United States Army. Paul enjoyed playing Rummy, Euchre, listening to music and playing guitar. He loved his grandkids, all animals, and was a workaholic.

Paul is survived by his children, Chad G. Delancey Sr., and Angie (Roy Reed) Delancey; grandchildren, Jordan, Chad Jr., Chase, Josie, Jenna; great grandchildren, Cambreigh and Rhealeigh; siblings, Karen Stokes, Bruce (Donna) Noblick, Becky (Dave) Shomaker, Pat Delancey, and Brenda Delancey; many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, James Delancey; brother-in-law, Jack Stokes.

A visitation will be held on Friday, March 1, 2024, from 5 – 7 PM at the Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home, where his service will start at 7 PM.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made in Paul's name to Licking County Veterans Services, 935 Buckeye Ave, Newark, OH 43055.
