Paulette Marie Muncy

Paulette Marie Muncy, 48, of Newark, OH, passed away September 25, 2026, at Licking Memorial Hospital. She was born October 30, 1977, in Beckley, WV.

Paulette was a 1995 graduate of Licking Valley High School. She attended Ohio State University Cosmetology and C-TEC, where she continued to develop her passion for the beauty industry. She was the proud owner of Hello Gorgeous and co-owner of Salon on 22nd.

Paulette was a free spirit with a strong work ethic and a genuine love for her career. Her clients were an important part of her world, and she loved making them feel beautiful and cared for. She also enjoyed cooking, good food, and spending time with her dogs. Above all, Paulette cherished her family. Her daughter and grandsons were the most important part of her life, and she treasured every moment spent with them.

She is survived by mother, Charlene (John) Noblick; daughter, Ashton (Dillon) Fletcher; grandsons, Leo (5) Fletcher and Mylo (1) Fletcher; brothers, Ryan Muncy and Jordan (Jessica) Noblick; sister, Jennifer (Steve) Large; niece, Ella Large, and nephew, Sebastian Large.

She was preceded in death by Ashton’s father, Stephen Kirk, Jr. and all of her grandparents.

In accordance with Paulette’s wishes, there will be no public services. She wished for her family to come together privately to remember and celebrate her life.
