Randy Phillip Ault, 67 of Thornville passed away on July 27, 2025 at Licking Memorial Hospital. He was born on October 25, 1957 in Newark, OH to Kay Louise (White) and the late Frank Phillip Ault.

Randy graduated from Arlington High School in Riverside, CA and received his Associates degree from San Jacinto Community College in CA. He was a retired truck driver. He enjoyed puzzles and researching ancestry. Most of all he loved his family.

Randy, our brother, son, father and grandfather passed away July 27, 2025. He struggled for years with his health, fought with everything he had to stay in this world, to be here for our family. But he was so tired, and so broken and just couldn't do it anymore. He was such a strong man. A good man. He raised his kids, then his grandkids. Gave his heart and soul and his body for his family to have the best life he could give them. Now we just wish him the peace he deserves. It is time for him to be the healthy, proud man he always was. Randy... you go and stand tall and breathe deep now. Go find our dad and fish to your hearts content. You have always made us proud of the man you were. Will love and miss you always.

He is survived by his mother, Kay Louise (Jim) White; children, Jenny (Dustin) Longfellow, Melissa (Chad) Baughman and Phillip (Savannah) Ault; grandchildren, Ashley Moriarty, Seth (Emma) Baughman, Chloe (Colton) Davis, Emma (Brandon) Davis and Sophie Smitson; great-grandson, Bentley Dye; five siblings; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his cousin, Tim White; and great-grandson, Waylon Allen.
