Raymond Wesley Miller Sr, age 90, passed away on December 28, 2023, at his residence. Raymond was born on November 8, 1933, to the late Carl and Marguerite (Yockey) Miller, in Shelby, Ohio.

He retired from the Newark Air Force Base and enjoyed writing poems.

Raymond is survived by his loving children, Brenda (Pete Sr.) Burchard, Raymond Jr. (Debbie) Miller, Daniel Lee (Annabel) Miller, Velma Smith; grandchildren, Pete Jr., Faith, Carl, Tommy, and Wesley; seven great grandchildren; and sister, Ruth Gilmare.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Faith Caris Miller; and son-in-law, Russ Smith.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 2, 2024, from 5 - 7  PM at the Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home, where his service will be held on Wednesday, at 11 AM with Pastor Ron Hawk officiating. The burial will take place in Newark Memorial Gardens.
