Obituary

Richard Karl Lange, 80 of Newark passed away on March 8, 2026 at the Selma Markowitz Center. He was born on August 27, 1945 in Newark, OH to the late Richard Oscar and Patricia Ann (Crowley) Lange.

Rick served honorably in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He was a proud member of the Elks, Moose, and Eagles lodges and built a strong work ethic throughout his life. Rick shared a special and inseparable bond with his beloved wife, Sue. The two were rarely apart and built a lifetime of memories together. They especially enjoyed vacations to Las Vegas and swimming in the ocean. This June 4th, they would have celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary.
