Richard L. McPeck

A visitation celebrating the life of Richard L. McPeck, 78, of Newark, OH, will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday September 18, 2025, at Brucker and Kisher Funeral Home, 985 N. 21st St. Newark, where military honors will be conducted by the Licking County Veterans Alliance at 6:00 p.m.

Richard passed away September 12, 2025, at Licking Memorial Hospital. He was born February 24, 1947, in Zanesville, OH, to the late Carl Kenneth and Julia (Wagner) McPeck.

Richard was a United States Army Veteran. He retired from the Newark Air Force Base. He was a member of Eagles, VFW, and Druids where he enjoyed playing euchre. He was a proud owner of his 34 Ford sedan. He found joy in car shows, bingo, and beaming with pride over his granddaughters, and was thrilled that his son Matt and daughter Tresa are living successful lives, and that he was able to take part in the profoundly meaningful Honor Flight.

He is survived by his daughter, Tresa (Jeff) Campbell; son, Matthew McPeck; granddaughters, Jayna (Adrian) McCutcheon and Chloe Campbell, and former wife, Patricia Roberts.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth McPeck, and friend, Linda Davis.
