Richard Paul Carter

Richard Paul Carter, 59, of Sugarcreek, OH, passed away January 5, 2024, at his residence. He was born September 23, 1964, in Newark, OH, to the late Richard Lee and Mary Kathleen (Kidwell) Carter.

Richard's hobbies were a reflection of his personality. He was a car enthusiast, having collected a small fleet of vehicles and was always on the lookout for something new. He liked spending time at Piedmont Lake on his boat and he made friends wherever he went. Rich was always willing to lend a helping hand and had a way of telling a story that would have you roaring with laughter. Rich married the love of his life in 2009 when he married Linda. When he lost her, he lost his whole world. Hopefully, they are back together now once again. Richard will be missed by many, and our lives won't be the same without him.

He is survived by his brother, Kevin (Rhonda) Carter; nephews, Noah and Shawn Carter; niece, Tera (Chad) Callihan; great-niece, Emma Carter, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In addition to his parents, she was preceded in death by his wife, Linda (Ault) Carter, and brother, Stephen Carter.
