Rick L. Wheeler, age 72, passed away unexpectedly at his home on January 21, 2026/ Rick was born on December 13, 1954, in Newark, Ohio to Denny and Carol Wheeler.

Rick was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. He was a graduate of Newark High School with the class of 1973. After graduation, Rick joined the Navy for 3 years and was stationed in Guam. When he returned home, Rick was retired at Rockwell International, and here he retired after 30 years.

Rick is survived by his mother, Carol Wheeler; brother, Ron (Carolyn) Wheeler; nephews; cousins; and special friends, Larry and Kim Germenhardt and Kelly Mendenhall.

He was preceded in death by his father, Denny Wheeler, and brother, Ram Wheeler.

There will be a private burial at Newark Memorial Gardens at a later date. Where Rick will be buried next to his brother, Ram. Rest In Peace.
