Robert Clinton Keyse, age 91, of Newark, passed away at his home Saturday, January 10, 2026. He was born in Hanover, Ohio on August 8, 1934, to the late William Harley and Effie M. (Icenhower) Keyse.

Robert was a devout family man who loved the Lord. He proudly served in the United States Air Force and was a life-long member of the Christian Apostolic Church. He retired from the North American Rockwell Aeronautics Division and worked as a realtor for 25 years in Newark, Ohio. He enjoyed spending time with his family and being outdoors, but his true passion was leading home Bible study groups and winning people to the Lord.

Robert is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Sandra (Keefe) Keyse; children, Michael A. (Shawna) Keyse, Layli J. Keyse, and Tamara L. Keyse (Rick Nelson)  grandchildren, Brad Lewis (Kayla Shipley), Ashley Thompson, Jessica (Ryan) Stoops, Aubrey (Grant) Millard, Emma Keyse, Lacie (Justin) Smith, and Victoria Keyse; great-grandchildren, Isaiah, Karmyn, Gunnar, Lainey, Brynley, Josie, Nora, Isla, Esra, Jaxon, Jaycee, and Jayelle; sister, Ruby Gieseck; sister-in-law, Sonya Crawford.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Tracy Keyse; siblings, Muryl Keyse, Bill Keyse, Mabel Butterfield, and Florence Nelson.

Visitation will be held from 5-7pm Thursday, January 15, 2026, at Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N 21st. St, Newark, Ohio 43055, and 11am-12pm Friday, January 16, at the Christian Apostolic Church, 22 N 23rd St, Newark, Ohio 43055. A funeral service with military honors presented by the Licking County Veterans Alliance will take place at 12pm immediately following visitation.
