Robert "Randy" Shumaker, 66, of Newark, died Saturday, August 31, 2024 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. He was born November 4, 1957 in Columbus to the late Robert Elsworth and Kathleen (Bebout) Shumaker.

Randy graduated from Johnstown High School class of 1976. He retired from Rockwell where he worked for 30 years. He enjoyed participating and watching tractor pulls with his fellow tractor buddies. He was also a proud UAW member.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Lew; daughter, Leslie Redman; grandson, Tristan Redman; and sister, Judith Comisford.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved K-9 companion, Penny.

Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Randy to the Licking County Humane Society.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, September 5, 2024 at 1:00 pm at Fairmount Cemetery.
