Rodney “Bubba” L. Frazier, 57 of Newark passed away on May 7, 2026 at Licking Memorial Hospital. He was born on December 18, 1968 in Newark, OH to the late Ronald Eugene Frazier and Anne May (Holbert) Holtz.

Bubba will be remembered for his big heart, quick jokes, and playful pranks that brought laughter to everyone around him. He loved working on cars, playing cards, and fishing. Bubba especially loved spending time with family and friends, and all the kids adored him for his fun-loving spirit and kind soul. He leaves behind many cherished memories and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his sisters, Vickie Choice, Wanda (Tyrone) Hutchinson, Tammy (Blaine) Jones and Kimberly (Chuck) Nicodemus; sister-in-law, Lisa Frazier; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Ricky Frazier and Ronald Frazier.
