Roger Keith Draa

Roger Keith Draa, 90, of Heath, passed away June 14, 2025, at Flint Ridge Nursing and Rehabilitation. He was born February 23, 1935, in Amsterdam, OH, to the late Howard and Olive (Mehoffery) Draa.
Roger was a 1954 graduate of Toronto High School. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps 1954-1957. He was a 40-year Ohio Power/AEP employee retiring as a Power Systems Dispatcher.  He was an avid outdoorsman and OSU fan. He loved his family, especially the grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Mary Ann ( Monroe) Draa; children, Douglas (Helga) Draa, Carol (Brian Hess) Draa-Hess, Michael (Amy) Leibrand, and Greta (Brian) Nadin; grandchildren, Melissa Draa, Eric Leibrand, Josh Quinlan, Caitlin Leibrand, Matt Nutter, Kyrie Cutshall, Logan Nutter, Carissa Johnson, and Chris Leibrand; brother-in-law, Ed (Shirley) Monroe; sisters-in-law, Terisa (Jan Beery) Monroe, Janet Spear and Sue Morris, and many greatgrandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his 13 siblings, first wife, Ann Peacock Draa; stepson, Steven Leibrand, and grandson, Paul Leibrand; sister-in-law, Linda Neudecker; brothers-in-law, David Morris and Eugene Monroe.
A military honors service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home, where military honors will be conducted by the Licking County Veterans Alliance. Family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday prior to the military service at the funeral home, 985 N. 21st St. Newark.
