Roger Lee Strohacker, age 66, of Granville, passed away at Licking Memorial Hospital Monday, November 17, 2025. He was born in Zanesville, Ohio on March 2, 1959, to Joan (Fracker) and the late Paul Strohacker.

In his younger years Roger was a stand-out football and basketball player at Licking Valley High School. He was a long term employee of NFI Industries and a member of Impact City Church. He was also a Ford muscle car and Buckeyes fan who enjoyed racing, NASCAR, and fishing.

In addition to his mother he is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Margaret "Jan" (Young) Strohacker; children, Jeremy (Kat) Strohacker, Daniel Strohacker, Brooke (Jon) Strohacker, and Katelyn Strohacker; brothers, Michael (Julie) Strohacker and James (Mary) Strohacker; 5 grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Ray Young.

Visitation will be held from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm Sunday, November 23, and 11 am - 12 pm Monday, November 24, 2025, at Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N 21st, St. Newark, Ohio 43055. A 12 pm funeral service will take place Monday after visitation, followed immediately by a graveside service at Newark Memorial Gardens, Pastor  Bob Nicholson  officiating.
