Ronald Roy Houser, 89 of Zanesville, OH formerly of Sevierville, TN passed away on February 23, 2026 at Cedar Hill Assisted Living in Zanesville. He was born on August 17, 1936 in Clinton, OH to the late LeRoy and Katherine (DeMeter) Houser.

Ronald served honorably in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict aboard the USS Ticonderoga. He was a devout christian and member of the First Baptist Church of Sevierville, TN. He sang in the church choir and enjoyed gardening.

He is survived by his nieces and nephews, Paul Ray (Kathy) Hill, Marcia Phelps, Debbie Owens, Larry (Patty) Hill and Terry (Jody) Hill.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Evelyn Houser.

A private graveside service will be held at Newark Memorial Gardens with military honors provided by the Licking County Veterans Alliance.
