Ronald E. Peddicord passed away at the age of 78 at Licking Memorial Hospital. He was born to William H. Peddicord and Virginia Broadwater on April 7, 1946 in Parkersburg, WV.

He enjoyed woodworking and reading. He served in the U.S. Marine Corp from 1964-1968 and had many stories to tell. He worked as a Licking County Deputy Sheriff until 1979 when he retired.

He is survived by 4 sons, Johnny (Dr. Amber Nordike) Peddicord, Esq. of Waterloo, IL, Matthew Peddicord of Newark, OH, Brett (Jenn) Swigert of Dover, OH and Steven Swigert of Newcomerstown, OH. He is also survived by a brother, Pete (Peg) Broadwater of Poland, OH; sister, Barbara Kaye Norris of Farmington, NM.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, William Peddicord.

There will be a 2 hour remembrance session on Thursday, September 26, 2024 from 5-7pm with Military Honors at the conclusion for all who would like to pay their respects at Brucker-Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N. 21st St., Newark.
