Rose Marie Slack, 74 of Newark passed away on January 29, 2026 at her residence. She was born on June 2, 1951 in Newark, OH to the late Harold M. and Edna Marie (Tindall) Bailey.

She is survived by her loving husband of 29 years, Edward Slack, Sr.; children, Randy Armstrong, Steven (Tammy) Armstrong, Tara Newlon, Sarah Slack and Edward Slack, Jr.; several grandchildren; siblings, Richard Bailey, Sarah (Gary) Cline and David Bailey; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one sister and two brothers.
