Ruby Marie Hersman

A graveside service for Ruby Marie Hersman, 84, Newark, formerly of St. Louisville, will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, April 12, 2024, at Eden Cemetery with Pastor Roger Cummings officiating. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 11, 2024, at Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N. 21st St., Newark.

Ruby passed away April 9, 2024, at Licking Memorial Hospital. She was born July 29, 1939, in Kenna, WV, to the late Adam Roy and Virgie Marie (Parsons) Parsons.

Ruby was a faithful member of Church of God and loved all her church friends. She was a loving housewife for 67 years. She enjoyed reading, gardening, and the Cincinnati Reds.

Ruby is survived by her children, Ronald Hersman, Rhondus (Lisa) Hersman, Rose (Terry) Wilson, Robert (Colleen) Hersman, Randal (Stacie) Hersman and Regina (Dean) Bremer; 14 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; brother, Paul Parsons, and sister, Janet Boggess.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rudie Clive Hersman; 2 sisters, and 3 brothers.
