Sandra "Katie" Kay Ikehorn

A Celebration of Life for Sandra "Katie" Kay Ikehorn, 81, of Newark, will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday, January 4, 2026, at Newark Moose Lodge #499, 235 W. National Dr. Newark, OH 43055.

Katie passed away November 1, 2025, at The OSU Medical Center. She was born October 26, 1944, in Coshocton, OH, to the late Ross and Ethel (Millard) Lawrence.

Katie worked for State Farm and for a short time at Park National Bank. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life: hiking, mushroom hunting, traveling, feeding the birds, and gardening. Katie also loved yoga at the YMCA and cherished her trips to Florida with her sisters.

She is survived by her sons, Paul (Sunny Weaver) Ikehorn and Justin Ikehorn; sisters, Nita Hood, Susie Cassie, and Cathy (Dale) Cleaveland, and four nieces.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Steven Ikehorn, and her brother, Donny Lawrence.
